INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE COLLECTION, PROCESSING, AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

As Hisar Travel Global Korea, we attach great importance to the security of your personal data. With full awareness of this responsibility, acting as the Data Controller within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed only within the purposes and scope explained below, in accordance with KVKK and other relevant legislation.

Processed Personal Data

Your personal data are collected by Hisar Travel Global Korea verbally, in writing, or electronically through call centers, websites, online services, and similar channels in connection with tour sales and airline ticket services. In addition, personal data may also be collected when you participate in training sessions, seminars, or organizations organized by Hisar Travel Global Korea.

Primarily passport data, as well as special category and general personal data, including but not limited to the following, may be processed in a manner that is relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes specified below:

  • Identity information such as name, surname, Turkish ID number and/or passport number and/or temporary Turkish ID number, place and/or date of birth, marital status, gender, health insurance information, profession, insurance card number, workplace registry and/or patient ID number, and other identity data that may identify you
  • Contact information such as address, phone number, email address
  • Call center voice recordings, email correspondence, letters, and other communication records
  • Financial information such as bank account number, IBAN, credit card details, billing and invoice information
  • Feedback such as surveys, thank-you notes, complaints, and satisfaction results
  • Vehicle license plate information (if parking services are used)
  • Camera recordings obtained from continuously monitored common areas due to legal requirements
  • Data submitted or entered via Hisar Travel Global Korea websites and online services, IP address, cookies, and similar data
  • Resume and related data in case of job applications
  • All personal data related to service contracts

These data may be processed by Hisar Travel Global Korea in connection with the purposes stated in Section 2 and transferred to persons, institutions, and organizations specified in Section 3.

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data, including special category personal data, may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Execution of corporate sustainability activities
  • Product and service presentation and promotion with explicit consent
  • Delivery of important information via communication channels
  • Completion of all records and documents required for Hajj, Umrah, and cultural tour operations in digital or physical environments
  • Management of relationships with business partners and suppliers
  • Execution of recruitment and human resources processes
  • Conduct and follow-up of legal affairs
  • Planning and execution of corporate communication activities
  • Complaint and satisfaction management
  • Providing information to authorized institutions when required
  • Creation and monitoring of visitor records
  • Recording camera images in common areas due to security practices
  • Fulfillment of contractual obligations

Transfer of Personal Data

By taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure an adequate level of security in accordance with KVKK and related legislation, Hisar Travel Global Korea may transfer your personal data, in line with the purposes stated in Section 2, to:

  • Authorized persons, institutions, and organizations permitted by legislation
  • Private insurance companies, banks, funds, and foundations
  • Domestic and international direct/indirect shareholders, subsidiaries, and affiliates
  • Group companies
  • Auditors and consultants
  • Business partners
  • Domestic and international organizations from which services are received or to which services are provided under contractual relationships
  • Other real and/or legal third parties

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are collected for the purposes specified in Section 2 through verbal, written, visual, or electronic means, including but not limited to telephone, SMS, MMS, emails you send, call center recordings, websites, printed materials, and similar channels, before, during, or after your interaction with Hisar Travel Global Korea, and are stored in physical and digital environments.

In accordance with Article 7/1 of KVKK, when the purpose requiring processing ceases to exist and/or when statutory limitation or retention periods expire, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data are processed
  • Request information regarding processing activities
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with that purpose
  • Learn the third parties to whom data are transferred domestically or abroad
  • Request correction or updating of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Request deletion or destruction of data when processing grounds cease or legal basis no longer exists
  • Object to unfavorable results arising from automated processing
  • Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

Requests may be submitted by completing the “KVKK Application Form” and delivering it in person, via notary, or by sending a secure electronic signature–signed email or Word/PDF document to hizmet@hs01.kep.tr.

Situations Where Personal Data May Be Processed Without Explicit Consent

Pursuant to Article 5 of KVKK, personal data may be processed without explicit consent in the following cases:

  • When explicitly stipulated by law
  • When processing is mandatory to protect life or physical integrity where consent cannot be obtained
  • When processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract
  • When processing is mandatory to fulfill a legal obligation
  • When personal data have been made public by the data subject
  • When processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right
  • When processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of Hisar Travel Global Korea, provided fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed
